An injection molding process stands or falls with proper preparation. As a Machine Builder / Machine Setter, you ensure that machines are correctly converted and ready for the next production run. With technical insight, a hands on mindset, and attention to detail, you directly contribute to a stable and efficient production process. 

Experience is not required. Technical aptitude, motivation, and the willingness to learn are.

What will you do? 

As a Machine Builder / Machine Setter, you work day shift and are responsible for converting and preparing injection molding machines. You collaborate closely with colleagues from production and technical services to ensure everything is ready before production starts. Your responsibilities include:

  • Converting and setting up injection molding machines for new production runs
  • Preparing machines, auxiliary equipment, and the workstation
  • Verifying safety, cleanliness, and completeness prior to start up
  • Identifying deviations and discussing them with colleagues
  • Contributing ideas for more efficient changeover sequences and working methods
  • Gradually developing toward greater independence in machine setup and adjustments
