1K injection molding provides an efficient, repeatable method for molding one plastic material per cycle, delivering reliable performance and precise fit across high-volume production.

The strength of 1K molding lies in its apparent simplicity. Beneath a seemingly simple part is a sophisticated process: advanced mold design, uniform wall thickness, precise release mechanisms. Though often overlooked, 1K is critical to injection molding, ensuring quality, stability, and consistent output throughout the production chain.

2K THERMOPLAST + THERMOPLAST 

Engineered to produce fully integrated components in a single production cycle.

2K injection molding fuses two distinct thermoplastics into one seamless component. Achieved not through post-assembly, but by forming the part directly in the mold. Perfect for designs that have to integrate multiple functions, like a rigid carrier with a soft seal, a flexible hinge, or a grip zone molded precisely in place. 

Opting for 2K is often a strategic choice in product design and manufacturing. For high-volume production, it’s a smarter, more efficient alternative to molding parts separately and then assembling them. Integrating multiple functions into a single molding process cuts costs and boosts reliability. It allows tighter tolerance control, eliminates assembly steps, and delivers a finished product straight from the mold, ready for use. 

A food industry client required efficiency and reliability. Our solution: a 2K component that integrates a seal and a rigid housing. The result? No assembly required, reduced product variations, and consistent sealing performance. 

PCB OVERMOLDING 

For protecting electronics in dimensionally stable applications.

Overmolding PCBs and electronic components isn’t just about geometry, it’s about protection. Protection from mechanical stress, from moisture, from dust, from temperature fluctuations. A thin layer of plastic, molded directly around the component, creates a shield with no gaps, no weak spots, no risk of deformation.

Every detail matters. A circuit board or battery has to be placed with pinpoint accuracy, then overmolded under perfectly controlled pressure and temperature: without shifting, without damage. That takes more than a process. It takes precision, smart mold design, and a stable system tailored to the final application.

And the result? Compact, integrated components that disappear inside the bigger product, but keep working, day after day. You may not see the meticulous alignment of mold, materials, and process. Sometimes, thermoplastic alone isn’t enough. Take, for example, applications that combine a rigid carrier with a flexible seal, membrane, or responsive element. In such cases, we combine thermoplastic with LSR. For example, using 1K or 2K molding, combining materials like LSR + TP or LSR + LSR.

The result is a single part with multiple zones, tailored for function, adhesion, and mechanical strength. No bonding required. No assembly needed.
